The 'Beyond Bullying Award' is an excellent way for your school to gain accreditation and recognition for its achievements in embedding effective anti-bullying practice.
The Award is valid for 3 years. Schools sign up for renewal after 2 years so that their accreditation can be re-validated at the end of year 3.
Leicestershire's anti-bullying team will provide participating schools with:
- A briefing event to help get you started.
- An initial consultation for your school with a named contact from the Anti-Bullying Team
- Individual feedback and advice on your school's Anti-Bullying Policy, evidence and areas for development
- Support via a termly visit, as well as via email, telephone, Teams and www.beyondbullying.com
- Up to date anti-bullying information (local and national) @BeyondLCC
- Access to a range of training
- Additional in school support, by agreement (charges applicable)
- A Beyond Bullying Award logo to use, dated for the 3 year period.
To achieve the award, schools will be required to show evidence of good practice in 6 key areas. We provide examples of the evidence that could be used, or schools may use alternative examples which meet the criteria. Below is the criteria document for the year 2024-25 as an example.
The cost of the award at present is £550.
(The award is reviewed annually and these charges are subject to change).
