Anti-Bullying Week 2024 takes place from Monday 11th to Friday 15th November with the theme: 'Choose Respect'.
The Anti-Bullying Alliance have created everything you need – entirely free of charge – to help you get ready to choose respect in your school/setting, including:
- School Packs: Resources for primary and secondary schools which include lesson plans, films, cross-curricular ideas, and assembly plans. These resources are focused on developing pupils' understanding of respect, including how to disagree respectfully.
- Odd Socks Day Pack: Odd Socks Day is taking place on Tuesday 12th November. There's a school pack with an assembly plan ready to go – alongside an amazing song and video from CBeebies' Andy and the Odd Socks currently in the making!
- Parents and Carers Pack: A tool to help parents and carers have conversations with their children about bullying.

Troy Jenkinson is an Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging Educational Advisor & author of a number of inclusive picture books.
A former head teacher & executive head (with 20+ years of school leadership experience), he specialises in supporting schools to strengthen their inclusion offer. He has worked nationally with schools & trusts to deliver training, conduct audits & guide school improvement in the areas around diversity, having specialised in Attachment & SEND in his Master's of Education. He now also supports charities & corporate businesses (including Amazon & Capital One UK) to enable them to empower their stakeholders to become their authentic selves using the power of story-telling.
Using his unique approach with his own picture books (& those of others), he delivers workshops for students of all ages (from EYFS to Key Stage 4) to develop an understanding of The Equality Act (2010) and the impact of understanding the protected characteristics at an age appropriate level.
