Anti-Bullying Week 2023 is coordinated in England, Wales and Northern Ireland by the Anti-Bullying Alliance. This year it has the theme 'Make A Noise About Bullying' and will take place from Monday 13th to Friday 17th November. The week will be kicked off with Odd Socks Day on Monday 13th November, where adults and children wear odd socks to celebrate what makes us all unique.
Schools can download free teaching resources and themed assemblies from thee Anti-Bullying Alliance. These will focus on the activities we can take to encourage young people to consider what bullying means to us, how banter can turn into something more hurtful, and what we can do to stop bullying.
Odd Socks Day materials are designed to help children and adults in a school or early years environment to think about how bullying affects us, what to do if you're worried about bullying and why it's important that we are all unique.
